Poor Warney

So Warney's got every right to be worried that there are "some blokes" out there who bowl from one end all day and will eventually break his record.

After all, he only got to bowl 37% of his Team's overs in this match, which interestingly is being played in Perth (today, he 'merely' bowled 39% of his Teams overs, i.e. 35 overs).

And not to forget that he only got to bowl 33% of the overs during the Ashes (toping at 39% at the Oval in the last Test).

Anyway, a quick look at Warne's increasing workload this year (Given that the Aussie bowling attack looks more like that of the Lankans, I think its not just Warne who needs to be worried here).

Well, the reason I put this up was because he did mention it yesterday. (I can't seem to find the link now).

I personally think it was in poor taste taking a dig at Murli...

Here is where he takes a dig at Murali. Btw Saurabh, what about the graph..the y limit is 31%, is it?

Thanks Worma.

Yes the range in this case is between 27% & 31%.

I tend to keep the graphs within the range of the values...

how much Warne has bowled recently is not the point. Murali has bowled from one end all of his career from practically the word go, where as Warne would be generally waiting behind the likes of Mcgrath, dizzy, kaspa, lee. The point he was making is Murali will always be the heart of his countries bowling, and will bowl and bowl and bowl for years to come, and has been for many years that have passed. Murali has bowled many many more overs per match than Warne, against crap countries a lot more than Aus on wickets made for him where as Warne will be bowling on beautiful flat wickets, not getting any help until the second innings. Do you see how warne kills everyone up when playing on crappy wickets like Murali bowls on every second?
Tests 99 deliveries 33173 Murali
Tests 134 deliveries 37685 Warne
Now if going by the average amount of deliveries Warne bowls a match, then he would be at about 27,800 after 99 matches (i'm not sure how many he had actually bowled after 99 matches) but as you can see, Murali bowls and has bowled a hell of a lot more.
